In November 2008, Launch NOW! was instrumental in the successful launch of the Fairytale Palace in Pickering/Ajax, ON. This wonderful retail outlet and childrens play centre provides opportunities for kids of all ages to develop their creativity and life skills while having fun in a safe, creative environment through the many clubs, events and programs they offer.
Sole Proprietor Patti O’Connor left her 20 year legacy - ”The Riverdale Rainbow Centre” in the Leslieville area of Toronto, to a trusted friend and business associate, as she packed up and moved out to Durham to begin a new life and a new dream. Thus, the Fairytale Palace was unveiled.
Working on a modest budget, our Launch Now! Marketing Plan included print media (flyers, pamphlets, newspaper ads) and the internet; where we developed a basic web presence and capitalized on the ever-growing social media (Facebook, MSN, My Space) network. The plan also included a viral marketing component that spread like wildfire! and events to be held during the grand opening itself such as: facepainting, a puppet show, FREE balloons, and a visit from Frosty the Snowman. The end result was a crazy-busy day of fun that brought children’s laughter, grand exposure and new registrations into Patti’s programs. For me, it was the joy of contributing to this awecome childrens centre in our community and being a part of this successful launch!
